Meet Your Newborn Photographer

Hi!  I’m Courtney your photographer and hopefully new friend.
 
I am a modern portrait photographer out of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
 
I’m the wife to an amazing and supportive husband, the mommy to two beautiful girls and a muppet baby dog, and the child of an awesome Savior. I got dolled up for the photo you see here, but I guarantee you won’t see that girl at your session. Look for a pony tail and black yoga pants because, I am ready to crawl in the mud, walk through the streams, or climb a tree to get that special shot. 
Around 13 years ago, I found myself taking thousands of photos of my own family and friends all while developing a really fun skill. I found that I truly loved photography and all of the people it allowed me to connect with. In 2013 LBP was getting off the ground with a hope and a prayer.  Thanks to the world’s best clients and probably a lot of divine intervention, LBP is the thriving small business you found today.
 
In 2015, my family moved to a new home specifically so I had my own studio space, and let me tell you how awesome that was…until it wasn’t.  Covid changed how I thought about having a stream of people in my home and then in 2023 my family had a really tough year. It became clear that my house needed to be our refuge and I decided to close the studio and only shoot outdoors or the occasional session in your home.  
 
There’s something wonderful about capturing life as it happens, developing relationships, and presenting your client with the treasure of fabulous photos. I want my images to enchant your senses. Years later, you will still smell the crisp air of that fall day, feel the soft skin of your little one, taste the birthday cake, and hear the laughter of your favorite people. I want my work to cover you like a warm blanket, inspire you like a sunset, and remind your heart of all that we have to be thankful for.

Posed images are important, but I love candids and all the little details. It’s rare a session goes by that I’m not photographing someone’s eyelashes. Baby feet, a little girl holding her super-hero daddy’s hand, and big smiles with missing teeth melt my heart. I’m obsessed with senior portrait sessions.  I love the confidence of these young adults and their eagerness to spread their wings.  Capturing who you are in each stage of life is so rewarding.  My sessions are fun and stress-free. Let me use my playful personality to wrangle your kids and and loosen up your husband or annoyed teenager.  I promise, by the end of the session we will have all had a great time and you will be so excited to get your selections.
